
Serbian classical guitarist Ema Kapor is recognized for her musical sensitivity and stylistic versatility, and is regarded as one of the most promising guitarists of her generation. Based in Germany, her recent career achievements include the release of her debut album, Manuel María Ponce: Selected Works (JSM Guitar Records, 2023), as well as prizes and concerts at leading European guitar events.
With over 40 acknowledgements in international competitions, she has won first prizes at Forum Gitarre Wien (2023), the Festival Internacional de Guitarra José Tomás Villa de Petrer (2021), and the Tallinna Kitarrifestival (2019) among others. These distinctions have led to recital and festival invitations across more than a dozen European countries. As a soloist, she has performed repertoire such as Rodrigo's Fantasía para un Gentilhombre with orchestras in Romania and Serbia, while also maintaining an active chamber music profile, including her guitar duo with Belmin Okanović.
She holds a Master of Music with highest honors from the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf, where she studies with Prof. Joaquín Clerch and is currently completing her Konzertexamen. She previously studied with Prof. Hubert Käppel at the Cologne University of Music and Dance. Ema performs on a Paco Santiago Marín guitar and is a D'Addario Artist.
